|Czech biathlete Michal Slesingr married Petra Najmanová in an outdoor ceremony this past Saturday in the Czech Republic|
The small ceremony, on a pleasant summer day, attended by family, friends and teammates was full of the outgoing Slesingr’s personality. The couple paraded under a canopy of ski poles and laughed it up on wooden skis, wearing homemade race bibs that said, “Today, together forever.” It was such a fun time that Slesingr commented on Tuesday that “it was fun and wish we could repeat the day again.”
Slesingr finished 10th in the World Cup Total Score this past season, the second year in a row that he ended the season in the top ten. Slesingr was on the podium twice last season, with second place in the Östersund 20K and another second place in the mixed relay in the second Hochfilzen World Cup.
